Davis Stripped of Title, Fonseca to Fight for Vacant Belt

Former Three-Division Champion Loses Title

Gervonta "Tank" Davis, the former three-division world champion, has been stripped of his title after missing weight for his scheduled fight against Rolando "Rolly" Romero.

As a result of Davis' weight issue, the vacant title will now be contested between Romero and Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz. Cruz had originally been scheduled to fight Ryan García, but that fight was postponed after García suffered a hand injury.
